Our partnership has existed for more than 15 years

Circle of Trust was founded with a clear vision: to create denim that strikes the perfect balance between style, fit, and affordability. What began with a focus on jeans has since grown into a fashion company with a global presence, particularly in countries like Germany, Belgium, France, Austria, and Canada. After years of successful growth and increasing international reach, it became essential for Circle of Trust to find a logistics partner capable of supporting their rapidly expanding business.

That partner turned out to be Modexpress. ‘Our partnership has lasted for more than fifteen years. What started as a practical solution has now evolved into a close and long-term relationship,’ says Michella Houweling, Back Office Manager at Circle of Trust. She highlights the clear advantages of the collaboration: Modexpress offers tailored services with a personal touch, always thinking along and adapting their services as needs change. For example, B2C shipping was added to the partnership and something that wasn’t initially required. Shipping directly to consumers via platforms like Zalando, which comes with specific requirements for documentation and packaging, was also successfully implemented.

Founded in 1985 as a specialist in transporting hanging garments, Modexpress has evolved over the years into a full-service fashion expert. From the start, the company has positioned itself as a partner for brands of all sizes, like Circle of Trust, who benefit from Modexpress’ personalised approach and tailor-made solutions.

‘Modexpress isn’t just a service provider for us; they truly think alongside us,’ explains Dylan Mulder from Circle of Trust. ‘Everything is tailored to our specific needs, from the layout of packing slips to choosing the right shipping partners. This ensures that everything runs smoothly and exactly as we envision.’

The collaboration is further strengthened by the integration of the ERP system It’s Perfect with Modexpress’ systems, ensuring a seamless logistics chain—from stock management and order processing to handling returns.

Speed and flexibility of logistics increasingly determining success

For a fashion brand like Circle of Trust, speed and flexibility in logistics have become increasingly critical to success. By working with Modexpress, Circle of Trust has not only taken on this challenge but fully embraced it, combining fast deliveries to both B2B and B2C customers with tailor-made service.

‘Where we used to wait a week for deliveries, it now takes just one to two days,’ says Houweling. ‘Thanks to the optimised processes, the customer experience has become much faster.’

Sustainability is a core value

Sustainability has become a core value for many fashion brands, and Circle of Trust is no exception. Together with Modexpress, the brand is working towards more sustainable logistics processes. An ongoing challenge, but an essential one.

By focusing on reusable packaging and reducing packaging waste, the partners demonstrate their active commitment to sustainability. ‘For example, we use reusable containers and recycle as much as possible,’ Houweling explains. ‘When items are returned in perfect condition, we put them straight back into stock without any additional packaging, which significantly reduces waste.’

Collaboration continues to develop

The partnership between Circle of Trust and Modexpress continues to evolve. As the brand expands into new markets like Australia and Spain, Modexpress remains proactive in finding logistics solutions to support this international growth. ‘It’s reassuring to know we can always rely on Modexpress, especially during busy periods,’ says Mulder. ‘Even when we face challenges, they’re there for us. We stay in regular contact, and during hectic times, we schedule bi-weekly meetings to keep everything on track.’ This open communication and flexibility are the cornerstones of the partnership.
